The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed about the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service here the area regularly. The assistance position developed for intervention experiences a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and website enhance access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
